At the meeting of Serbian Actuarial Association Assembly held on 10.05.2012, the new president of the Association was elected and new members were registered.

The UAS became an Associate member of the Groupe Consultatif at the Assembly held in Rome on October 19th, 2012.

 The Groupe Consultatif was established in 1978 with the aim to bring together the actuarial associations of the European Union and to represent the interests of the actuarial profession in the EU institutions. Today the Groupe Consultatif is a forum for discussion and mutual cooperation of the 35 European actuarial associations. The Groupe Consultatif promotes high professional standards of the actuarial profession and helps the education and professional development and training of European actuaries. Thanks to the reputation that the Groupe Consultatif has acquired in the previous years, EU institutions frequently seek its professional opinion on various issues concerning existing regulations as well as on proposed laws and directives.
